Wear resistance of abradable-conductive powder deposited by using hvof with different surface preparation and spray distance

چکیده

Along with many material failures due to worn steel components, HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) coating based abradable can be solution overcome this problem. However, abradable-conductive is still rarely used for coating, therefore it needs investigation find out the optimum parameters of process. In work, surface treatment on substrate was carried by different methods such blasting, etching, and blasting-etching obtain rough surface. The spraying distance process varied 20 cm 30 cm. Blasting-etching are able achieve roughest substrate. Meanwhile, spray produces thicker layer than longer distance. combination shorter reach wear resistance as presented in pin-on-disc test.
